1997-2016. As creative director of The Boston Globe and BostonGlobe.com, I led the print, digital, and infographics teams. We built an award-winning visual brand that constantly evolved to reflect changes in content, technology, and audience. Oversaw presentation of news, arts, opinion, and sports content, working with editors, reporters, and photographers. Planned presentation and coverage of major news events including 9/11, presidential elections, the Boston Marathon bombing, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and multiple sports team championships. Collaborated with product managers, business managers, and developers to create, prototype, and and launch new products and sections in print and online. Led the redesign of the print and digital Boston Globe.
